PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support

The program is intended for any person employed in the medical field who has to manage pediatric patients in critical condition while performing their professional duties.

Pediatric management significantly differs from adult management, and all medical personnel involved in the treatment of children should be aware of these differences.

The course includes scenario-based learning to develop participants' teamwork skills in the management of newborns and children.

Main topics of the course:

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use of an automated external defibrillator in children

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation in infants

• Systematic approach to pediatric patient assessment

• Resuscitation measures and emergency cardiovascular management

• Management of emergency respiratory conditions

• Rhythm disturbances and electrical therapy

• Cardiological, respiratory, and shock situational scenarios - discussions and simulations

Continuing Medical Education

The course "Pediatric Advanced Life Support" is accredited by the Ministry of Labor, Health, and Social Protection of Georgia, and accordingly, the participant is awarded 12 CME points. The certificate is valid for 2 years from the date of issue.

After completing the course, the participant also receives an American Heart Association certificate.
