In December 2023, Medical Center "MediClubGeorgia" successfully passed the JOINT COMMISSION INTERNATIONAL (JCI) accreditation audit and, for the third time, received international accreditation for a three-year period (from December 22, 2023, through December 21, 2026. IHCO ID 60000187). Since 2017, "MediClubGeorgia" has been the only medical center in Georgia to continuously hold JCI accreditation and fully meet the highest international standards for ensuring hospital service quality and patient safety.
"MediClubGeorgia" is among 669 hospitals worldwide holding similar accreditation. JOINT COMMISSION INTERNATIONAL is the subsidiary company and international branch of THE JOINT COMMISSION, the universally recognized and largest accreditation organization operating in the United States. JCI accreditation is considered the best means of demonstrating medical service quality and the gold standard in global healthcare.
Medical Center "MediClubGeorgia" successfully passed the JCI reaccreditation audit of medical institutions at the end of 2020 and received international accreditation for the second time. MediClubGeorgia's presence among 620 hospitals worldwide with similar accreditation is a significant achievement for the Georgian healthcare system.
The accreditation organization JCI is the largest and most authoritative organization operating in the USA, which represents a subsidiary company and international branch of THE JOINT COMMISSION.
JCI assists international organizations working in the healthcare sector, public health agencies, ministries, and medical institutions in assessing the quality of medical services and improving patient safety through international accreditation, consultations, and educational programs.
In April 2017, Medical Center "MediClubGeorgia" successfully passed the JCI audit and was awarded the JCI international certificate.
JCI auditors conducted a comprehensive audit of Medical Center "MediClubGeorgia's" full spectrum of hospital services (inpatient, outpatient, emergency care) to ensure compliance with established standards.
