(+995 32) 225 1991Under AHA rules, instructor status transfers freely from one Training Center to another at the instructor's written request. You complete the Instructor Records Transfer Request form; your current center sends us your personal file within 30 calendar days; and we conduct a skills check and monitoring. If successful, a new instructor card is issued. The AHA charges no fee for a transfer.
Detail | Information |
Deadline for records transfer | 30 calendar days |
AHA fee | None |
Required | Skills check and monitoring |
Outcome | A new instructor eCard |
Instructors whose Training Center is no longer active, or no longer runs courses in your discipline.
Instructors who need real support: course planning, documentation, equipment, and timely renewal.
Instructors returning from abroad who earned their status in another country. The AHA instructor card is recognized both nationally and internationally, but teaching actively in Georgia requires alignment with a locally authorized Training Center.
Instructors who want to work independently at their own clinic with the backing of a reliable Training Center. See Independent Instructor.
The procedure is set out in the AHA Program Administration Manual and is the same for every Training Center.
Step | What happens | Who does it |
1 | You complete the Instructor Records Transfer Request form and send it to our coordinator. Alternatively, the request can be sent to your current Training Center, which then forwards it to us | Instructor |
2 | Our coordinator schedules a meeting with you, completes and signs the request, and sends it to your current Training Center | MediClubGeorgia |
3 | The two Training Centers communicate about the transfer | Both centers |
4 | Your current Training Center sends us your complete, up-to-date personal file within 30 calendar days of receiving the request | Previous center |
5 | We verify that you have been removed from your previous center's instructor list on the AHA platform, and we guide you through completing your alignment | MediClubGeorgia |
6 | Once your records are received and your status is confirmed, we add you to the platform | MediClubGeorgia |
7 | A skills check and instructor monitoring are carried out, and your courses are taught, and any administrative or disciplinary documentation is reviewed | MediClubGeorgia |
8 | If successful, your alignment is put in place, a new instructor card is issued, your previous center is notified, and you accept the alignment on the platform | Both parties |
An important detail: instructor records are not handed over to the instructor personally. They are transferred only from one Training Center to another. This is not an internal rule of ours; it is an AHA requirement.

Instructor/TCF Renewal Checklists
The Instructor Records Transfer Request
The Instructor Essentials Course Completion Notice to the primary Training Center
Documentation of any administrative or disciplinary actions taken
The initial application form

Renewal forms
A list of the dates of courses taught (within the three-year record retention window)
Provider cards (where applicable) and current instructor cards
Both originals and copies are acceptable. Your previous Training Center must retain its own copies for 3 years.
These are two different things, and they are often confused.
| Transfer | Secondary alignment |
What it means | Your primary Training Center changes | You keep your primary center and add a second one |
Who is responsible for your compliance | The new center | The primary center |
Records transfer required | Yes | No |
When it is the better option | If your current center no longer supports you | If you occasionally teach courses at two organizations |
If you choose a secondary alignment: remember that it is your responsibility to ensure your primary Training Center receives confirmation of every course you teach; otherwise, those courses will not count toward your renewal.
If you are a Training Center Faculty member at your current center, please note: when you change centers, you transfer as an instructor, not as a faculty member, unless the new center accepts you into that position separately. A Training Center is not obliged to recognize TCF status and may require a meeting or monitoring before making its decision.
We consider each case individually, taking into account your experience and the center's needs.
Fill in the form, and our coordinator will contact you within 1 to 2 business days to explain the procedure and send you the Instructor Records Transfer Request form.
