Radiological Method

The radiological method in contemporary medicine represents one of the most important, informative, accessible, and non-invasive methods in diagnosing many diseases. X-rays are high-energy electromagnetic waves that can penetrate into most substances (to varying degrees). They are used in low doses to obtain images, which physicians then use to diagnose diseases; in high doses, they are used for the treatment of malignant tumors (radiation therapy). Radiological examination and more advanced computed tomography (CT) are based on X-rays.
