Colonoscopy

Colonoscopy is a procedure during which we examine the entire colon and the final segment of the small intestine using an endoscope (a video camera). During this procedure, it is possible to identify benign and malignant mucosal and submucosal formations and perform their endoscopic treatment (resection). If desired, the method can be performed under brief sedation (anesthesia).
