Pediatric First Aid

The course is designed for everyone who cares for children (at home, in kindergarten, at school, in sports clubs).

It covers: age-related characteristics, safe environment, CPR for children and infants, and management of foreign body airway obstruction. Also, first aid for emergency conditions characteristic of children's age: anaphylaxis, asthma attack, epiglottitis, croup, seizure, fever, vomiting/diarrhea, poisoning, wound/bleeding, trauma/burns, and drowning.

• Recognition and management of foreign body airway obstruction in children and infants

• Early recognition and initial response to pediatric emergency conditions

• First aid for trauma, bleeding, and burns in children

• Creating a safe environment and preventive actions
