Experience
Ketevan Khitarishvili joined MediClubGeorgia Medical Center in 2016 as a Physician-Endocrinologist and concurrently headed the center's inpatient department. From 2017 to present he/she is an endocrinologist at MediClubGeorgia;
A significant period of his/her clinical work is connected to the Department of Endocrinology at the Republican Hospital, with extensive experience in managing inpatient and outpatient patients;
Also, Ketevan was head of the Endocrinology Department at the First University Clinic and served as an invited consultant endocrinologist for clinic supervision;
Ketevan was head of the Endocrinology Residency Program at Academician Kipshidze Republican Hospital. From 2015 to present, Ketevan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Endocrinology at Tbilisi State Medical University.
Education and Training
Ketevan completed the Medical Faculty of Tbilisi State Medical University. Completed residency in Internal Medicine at Phiphia Hospital. Completed residency and postgraduate studies at the Department of Endocrinology at TSMU, and in 2002 completed his/her dissertation with an Endocrinology designation;
To enhance his/her qualifications, Ketevan Khitarishvili studied at the Department of Endocrinology at the University of London (2006);
Ketevan is a member of Georgian and international endocrinological societies and a speaker at round tables;
Holds a state certificate in endocrinology and has published up to ten scientific papers.
