To implement the Millennium Challenge Compact, Government of Georgia established Millennium Challenge Georgia Fund.  
The $ 395.3 million-worth Program is a US-Government grant and is implemented according to the priorities of Georgian Government.  The grant is intended for Infrastructure Rehabilitation and Enterprise Development in the
Regions of Georgia.

 

Minister of Finance visiting the Ongoing Rehab Works of the Strategic
Samtskhe-Javakheti Road

On January 8, The Minister of Finance of Georgia, Kakha Baindurashvili and the CEO of MCG George Abdushelishvili, together with the representatives of the local self governing bodies visited ongoing rehabilitation works on Samtskhe-Javakheti strategic road.

The works are carried out within the framework of MCG's Samtskhe-Javakheti Road Rehabilitation Project and envisage rehabilitation of around 223 km road in Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions. Read more...
